In 2004, Susanne Sachsse was a highly successful stage actress in Germany, with TV and movie credits. She was married to Tillman Gersch (Actor Stage,TV,Movie, National Theater Director & Producer), and they had twins (boy & girl). According to director Bruce LaBruce, doing the real sex scenes was her choice. Performing real sex in this movie destroyed her career, marriage & family.
